No matter what you call us we do One Main Thing. We use your photographs to tell your story your way. It is about you, your story, your special moments and we work as closely with you as possible to create a very personal book for you. We actively solicit your feedback during the design process, making necessary revisions along the way. You will have the opportunity to view a virtual copy of your book as it is being designed. Together we will fine tune the design until we meet your expectations. We guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied with the design of your book. Your completed photo book will take pride of place on your coffee table and you will be eager to share it with family and friends.
Old fashioned photo albums are out. Today’s photos are digital and many people are creating digital photo albums to share online with family and friends. Now is the time to take these digital albums to the next level, a printed photo book that you can hold in your hands, sit down and share with grandma, enjoy the vibrant colours of the pictures and read the text. A printed photo book with professional photo finishing and designs that showcase your pictures and bring your memories and family stories back to life will be something you can cherish forever.
Out of the Shoebox is perfect for busy people who don’t have the time to create their own books, for those who find the prospect of designing their own book a little too daunting, or who don’t have the PC skills required to make their own books.
For those of you who have yet to discover photo sharing sites I am here to sing their praises. New photo-sharing sites are springing up almost everyday, many with exciting new options. Some of the most well-known are Flickr, Picasa, and Photobucket. These sites provide a way to store and share photos with varying degrees of customization and privacy levels. The better sites offer tools to catalogue, edit and share pictures, as well as the ability to put pictures into albums and to create slide shows that can also be shared.
Once an older photo is made digital it is possible to improve the lighting, do some creative cropping, and adjust the color but if the image is one that you did not particularly like to begin with chances are that having it made digital will not improve how you feel about the picture.
When it comes to photo books many of us start with the obvious: wedding books, baby books, travel books and a year in review top the list. I think it is time to think outside the box and start getting creative with our photo books.
